Ramadan begins Thursday!
Assalumu alaikum! The moon was not sighted on Tuesday night, so the first day of Ramadan will be Thursday, May 17th. Ramadan technically begins on the evening before the first day of fasting, so the first night of Tarawih prayers will be on Wednesday night, after Isha prayers, which are at 9:50pm.
