Food Drive

Due to the hardships many people are experiencing during the ongoing coronavirus situation, the Islamic Center of Vallejo is operating a food drive program, in hopes that we can assist any families in our community, Muslim or non-Muslim, that need assistance in this difficult time. If you or someone you know are in need of help, or if you would like to help those in need, please read on.

With over 22 million people now unemployed in the United States and Ramadan soon approaching we felt there was a need to start such an initiative here close to home. This food drive was created as an effort that could help connect those most vulnerable with essential items including food and hygiene kits.

How to Get Help

If you would like to pick up a package, you can do so any time we have a distribution event. If you’re unable to pick up a package yourself, either at the specified times or at all, let us know and we can arrange a delivery. You’re also welcome to pick up a package for someone else.

We ask that anyone who is interested in picking up packages fill out this form so that we can more accurately determine the level of demand.

We are grateful for any assistance that can be given. In addition to the food donations listed below, we can also accept cash, which will be used to purchase needed items. Please contact Sr. Leena or Sr. Amal to make arrangements.
